Woodkid Official Music Video

This is the first establishing shot of the music video is shows that it is set in an isolated place with the moutains in the background. I really like the way that they have used black and white to make it more dramatic. I think the use of black and white helps to fit with the dramatic music.
Here they have used a long shot to show the main protagonist in an open empty place. I think that this helps to show the loneliness and the dark background colour shows danger and its almost as if there is a shadow over the main protagonist making it harder to see the whole figure.

They have used a close up of the main protagonist this helps to emphasise the emotion and the fear in the main protagonist face makes the video more moving. I want to take this idea when I am filming, I think that a shot like this will help to emphasise the fear going through the main protagonist.
This is a shot to show what the main protagonist is running from/with. I think that this really helps to tell the story and give the narrative meaning.

They have used light colours to show the goal of where the little boy is running to. I think the use of the white and black showing the good and bad is really effective.
